    In the face of school closures due to concerns about the coronavirus (COVID-19), we know how hard it can be to ensure your child is still learning. If you are seeking options for remote learning during this time for your primary grader, please read our tips below on how to get started with Muse. 

    How to create a free account on Muse

    Muse is a fun educational app with thousands of videos, games, and exercises for primary grade children.

    1. To get started, download the app on your Android mobile device or tablet: Download on Google Play devices

    2. Open the app and click “Sign Up here”

    3. Enter your birth year to verify your age. For security purposes, only adults can sign up.

    4. Enter email or phone number

    app

    5. Check your email/ phone for a message from Muse. Enter the verification code to continue.


    6. Enter student’s name, gender, class, and preferred language for Muse videos

    7. Select your age and an avatar.

    Start learning

    Head to the Home screen inside the app to get started. There, you will see multiple options for learning:

    1. Press the thumbnails in the Discovery Center (trending section) to access the most popular videos and flipbooks

    2. Press the Math, Science, English, and Games button to access learning content for each subject

    Tips to make learning from home easy and fun

    📱 Prep your device for learning
    Ensure the device is charged and connected to the internet to access all of the activities in the app. If you wish to use the content offline, you can download the content on your device when you have an internet connection and save it for future use by a long tap on the “GO” button in each unit.

    ⏰Set time aside for each subject
    From the Home screen, tap different subject buttons to access content for each subject. The content is divided into learning units. Each learning unit consists of a sequence of exciting videos, exercises, and flipbooks to ensure a smooth learning journey. Collect points as you go along!

    🛠Practice specific skills
    Falling behind on a specific subject? Press the relevant subject button on the home screen like Maths, Science or English. Select a specific learning unit like numbers.  Start practicing to catch up!

    🎮Play and learn

    📈 Track your progress
    Tap your avatar on the home screen to track student progress and performance in each subject through our personalized dashboard.
